      Is 6.5 lbs the right weight for me?

      Yes, for most people. Full weighted blankets follow a 10%-of-body-weight rule because they cover you head to toe. The Body Pod works differently — it concentrates weight where you place it, so 6.5 lbs delivers real deep pressure without pinning you down or making you fight it all night.

      How is this different from a weighted blanket?

      A weighted blanket covers the whole bed and stays there. The Body Pod is wearable and portable — drape it over your shoulders on the couch, across your lap at a desk, or over your chest in bed. Same deep-pressure mechanism, none of the bulk, and it travels.

      Will it make me hot?

      The cotton outer breathes, and because the pod covers a targeted area instead of your whole body, it traps far less heat than a full weighted blanket. Warm sleepers can pair it with our bamboo sateen pillowcases for a cooler setup.

      How do I wash it?

      The whole pod is machine washable. Wash cold on gentle, lay flat or tumble dry low. The glass-bead fill is sealed in evenly distributed channels, so it comes out of the wash the way it went in.
